[Pangyo BIO] KoreaBIO and China’s Ministry of Commerce open Korea-China Bio Industry Cooperation Support Center to strengthen collaboration

The Korea Biotechnology Industry Organization (KoreaBIO) announced on the 4th that it held an opening ceremony for the “Korea-China Bio Industry Cooperation Support Center” in Beijing, in collaboration with the China Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) under China’s Ministry of Commerce, a national-level organization supporting investment attraction and overseas expansion..

With the launch of the center, companies from both countries will expand practical cooperation in areas such as joint R&D, clinical licensing support, and partnership activation, while also laying the foundation for entry into the global bio market.

The center will also serve as KoreaBIO’s official office in China..

Since signing an MOU in 2022, the organizations have run the “Korea Bio Companies Go to China Project” starting in 2023 in connection with CIFIT (China International Fair for Investment and Trade), hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce.
